Well, according to the bigger anime news sources, AnimeNewsNetwork [url] and UMJAMS [url] there is more on the way to your TV. Cartoon Network will be changing it's Toonami and Midnight Run schedules, in addition to its regular schedules, in order to make room. There's also news on upcoming DVD titles and anime merchandise. The first non-anime change will be the "Adult Swim" block, which will have several Space Ghost spinoff shows, and eventually even adult-themed anime series (Cowboy Bebop is a rumor). Another change includes bringing Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing back, adding both Mobile Suit Gundam and 08th Mobile Suit Gundam, Pilot Candidate (A Candidate for Goddess) and of course the original Dragonball. Tenchi will sneak back in as well.
Toonami: Lockdown will be another week-long interactive miniseries, much like The Intruder. Expect to see Tom3 (as the rumors go) and even a new Reactor 2.0 (the current Reactor site is down, having completed the feedback study from viewers). On the home entertainment side, look for the new release of Akira on DVD beginning in July, and a special re-release of Kaneda and his bike from McFarlane Toys. Neon Genesis: Death and Rebirth on DVD in Oct. McFarlane toys will release the Animation from Japan series 2 sometime in Sept. These include a characters from Akira, Tenchi Muyo, and Ghost in the Shell.
